Struggling like hell with the interface, as I have gotten far to used to presets etc, in lightroom, I still want to do my main editing there, I think but I can see the potential of Lightzone, despite fighting on with it all weekend and the far better start point for X-T1 RAW in the new beta, I'm still really struggling to get to a point where I'm happy to TIFF the result to send to Lightroom, all of this is to avoid the Lightroom 5.4 De-mosaicing completely, as i really really dislike it intensely, I wish I could just throw money at it buy a Mac (Though I don't love em either!) and Irrident but I'm stuck with Lightroom, NIK and TOPAZ, too much of an investment for me to throw away frankly.Īnyone have a particular workflow/setting that they use with the majority of their files to help me along here? I'm not a PP'er at heart and I'm finding all this computer time a little wearing to be honest but I cannot get my Landscapes to be where I want them to be from Lightroom and currently can only afford free, so Lightzone it is, In this for the long haul now, so I would be very grateful for any more tips or tricks in Lightzone, as it is for the froseeable my future it seems. So I turn to my knowledgable friends on PentaxForums. This is because the last two are mostly only photo editing software and, in most cases, don’t allow you to work more with your photos. As you can see, Phototheca brings much more to the table in comparison to LightZone or Lightroom. My lovely wife can only tolerate the question "Which image do you prefer?" so many times.
